Educational Model - With Observation Window

Operating instructions:

1. Open latch.
2. Pull door open slowly to reveal the observation panel.
3. Take care that the lid does not catch on the side door panel as you open the door as the unit is made to fit very closely to ensure very little light enters the Eliminator.
4. Note the different levels of waste decay. Note also the color difference.
5. In most cases you will probably see “worms at work” when you first open the door. They will quickly retreat from the light so try and ensure that if you want to observe the process in more detail, try and subdue any background light to a minimum while still maintaining enough to see.
6. Worms are also vibration sensitive so try and make sure that back round noise is also as low as possible especially if in a classroom situation.
7. Use the window to help determine when to feed and how much you can harvest, when it’s time to do so.
8. Close door gently and relock.
