The Eliminator design allows great airflow throughout the system which promotes effective vermicomposting. Unlike plastic systems it does not "sweat" and therefore allows air to flow through the unit like no other worm driven system available. Air is vital to any worm system because worms breathe through their skin and if they are subjected to heat with no airflow they will perish very quickly. Even with little heat, if air is not present your worm bin will quickly begin to smell and will stop working correctly. Because of the wonderful airflow in the Eliminator, heat dissipates easily and excess moisture evaporates quickly so the user should add water to the bedding frequently. The Eliminator is an all purpose system that will take food scraps, garden wastes, paper, cardboard ... in fact any organic waste that is suitable for worm composting.
