What is the Happy D Ranch?

The Happy D Ranch is nestled in the heart of agricultural land in the beautiful Central Valley of California. The ranch is not only home to tens of thousands of worms but also to a menagerie dogs, chickens, cats, and of course my beautiful family.

We grow our worms in windrows of manure on the property. Currently we have two windrows going: one with goat manure and the other with rabbit manure. The bed moisture is maintained with an automatic watering system on the windrows.

We offer the Can-O-Worms^TM system for one of the lowest, if not the lowest price on the internet. The Worm Farm is a side business so we do not need to make high profits on our items sold. In fact, we sell worms and the Can-O-Worms^TM more because we think every home should be vermicomposting and diverting waste from the landfills than to make a bunch of money. Kinda unique, huh?

Our worm pricing is competitive. You may find some lower prices on the internet but first look at their added costs for shipping. Second, ask the worm grower for references and find out who has bought worms from them and inquire as to whether the customer was satisfied with the quantity and quality of the worms. Sometimes a grower will sell a pound of worms but when they arrive there is as much peat moss as worms in the box!
